Evaluating and Estimating Demographic Indicators from the 2016 South African Community SurveyPast Publications
New data are a potential source for updating inputs in assumptions underlying demographic projections. However, it is imperative to evaluate the quality of such new data. It is often the case that the quality of the data cannot be taken at face value owing to reporting errors in the responses to the questions or inappropriate implementation of the questions during a census or survey.
